Miriam Marvin

I have taught for fifteen years in Special and General Education. In New York City, I provided special education services at home, school, and after school programs which included one-on-one and small group settings. In addition, I have taught via frontal classroom teaching, pull-out, and push-in services in New York based Yeshivas and in the NYCDOE. In Israel, I have taught in small group settings, including one-on-one. Furthermore, I have taught via frontal classroom and tutoring settings in Jerusalem. Overall, my experience includes teaching from 2.5 years old till college age students.

“I start by doing an intake of the student's weaknesses, strengths, likes, dislikes, and overall personality. After assessing the student's academic level, I create individualized lessons to cater to the student’s needs and what is desired to master short and long term in the lessons.”
