Privacy Policy

Tutor applications and profiles: the details you submit when applying: name, email, phone, city, education, certifications, experience, rates, and any photo or flyer you upload. Approved profiles are published on the site by design; your email and application details are not published.

Contact messages: the name, email, and message you send through the contact form.

Tutor accounts: your login email and session data needed to keep you signed in.

Technical data: we use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand site usage. Cookies on this site are essential ones only, they keep tutors and administrators signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.

To operate the directory: reviewing applications, publishing approved profiles, connecting families with tutors, sending the emails the service requires (application confirmations, login links, approval and membership notices), and answering messages. We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing email without consent.

Data is stored and processed with our infrastructure providers: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), and Resend (transactional email delivery). Each processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Payment for tutor memberships is handled by our payment provider; card details never touch our servers.

Published profiles remain while the membership is active. Applications and messages are kept while relevant to operating the service. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below); we may retain what the law requires, such as billing records.

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Tutors can edit most profile details directly from the dashboard. For anything else, email hello@anglotutors.com and we'll respond promptly. These rights follow Israel's Protection of Privacy Law.

The site is for adults: parents seeking tutors and tutors offering services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Details about a child's tutoring needs are shared by parents directly with tutors, not through us.
