About
I have taught math at Mathnasium in Chicago to grades 1st - 8th as a math tutor and advisor to other tutors at our after-school math center. I attended Adali E. Stevenson High School, the 4th-best high school in Illinois and in the top 200 in the United States. I had fantastic English teachers and learned English grammar properly, almost from scratch, in my 3rd year.
Teaching approach
“Math is built on many small building blocks/concepts. I start by understanding what the student is struggling with, and then investigate to get to the root of why he may be stuck on the problem or type of problem. He may not understand a core concept that the higher-level math is built upon.”
