Jake Gillis

I taught at a Jewish boarding school (American Hebrew Academy) for a year, covering various subjects and classes. During a year of study at Pardes and another at Hadar in New York, I regularly reviewed course materials one-on-one with students who had less background in the subject matter, helping them keep pace with the broader class. Most of my tutoring has been with high school and college students; I also tutored math to fellow high school students. I have additional experience as a camp counselor for 9-11 year olds, including leading group activities. I currently lead workshops on Israeli culture and teach courses online.
