Chaya Chyrek

I have three years of teaching experience in the United States, working with students from preschool through 8th grade. During my first year, I taught all subjects to a combined class of 2nd and 3rd grade boys. I designed my lessons in creative and engaging way that suited the students’ learning needs. During my second year, I taught Limudei Chol to a large 4th grade girls’ class. I used personalized instruction and peer learning to accommodate different ability levels and ensure that each student’s individual needs were met. During my third year, I taught multiple subjects to students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Throughout these years, I provided private tutoring as well. In addition, I worked as a substitute accross grades 1-8 and taught preschool classes during summer camp. From my teaching experience, I have developed a strong appreciation for the unique developmental stages, learning styles, and needs of students at each grade level so that I can support them in an attentive and compassionate way.
