Allison Haller

I’m a dedicated educator with extensive classroom and one-on-one tutoring experience in both New York and Jerusalem. After making Aliyah two years ago, I’ve taught Tanakh, English Literature, and English as a Second Language in religious day schools, working with students from 4th through 12th grade. I also tutor college students in English literature, academic writing, and essay development. My background in both education and scholarship allows me to make complex ideas accessible and engaging for students of all levels. I’m passionate about helping students not only improve their grades, but also develop confidence, curiosity, and independent thinking. I recognize that no two students learn the same way, so I create individualized lessons that build on each student’s strengths while addressing their unique challenges. Whether a student needs enrichment, remediation, exam preparation, or writing support, I combine patience, creativity, and high expectations to help them reach their full potential. Based in Jerusalem, I’m available to travel throughout the city for in-home tutoring and look forward to helping students thrive both academically and personally.
